The launch

OpenGradient (ticker OPG) runs its Token Generation Event today (April 21) on Binance Wallet and PancakeSwap. Subscription window 09:00–11:00 UTC; trading opens 11:00 UTC. This is Binance Alpha TGE #46.

Supply and unlocks

Fixed supply of 1 billion OPG. At TGE, 4% is airdropped (fully unlocked) and 6% seeds liquidity (fully unlocked) — a tight 10% initial float. The rest: 40% ecosystem, 15% foundation, 15% core contributors, 10% investors/advisers, 10% staking rewards.

Backers and product

$9.5M raised pre-TGE with a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, SV Angel, and Foresight Ventures. The project positions itself as a decentralized computational layer for verifiable AI — a co-processor network delivering model inference via GPU and TEE nodes, with cryptographic verification proofs attached to every inference.

Why it matters

"Verifiable inference" is one of 2026's clearest crypto × AI primitives: if an on-chain agent is going to route money based on a model's output, something has to prove the output came from the declared model, unmodified. OpenGradient is betting that proof layer is worth owning.

BlockAI Take

A 10% unlock is tight, backers are top-tier, and the launch coincides with a market buying AI-native crypto (Venice +400% YTD). Short-term volatility is the default. The longer bet: does a proof-of-inference layer find enough developers to move from a16z-thesis slide into production DeFi flows.

Sierra Hits $15.8B Valuation on $950M Round as Bret Taylor's Bet Finds Its First $150M ARR Winner

On May 4, Sierra closed a $950 million Series E at a $15.8 billion post-money valuation, led by Tiger Global and GV with Benchmark, Sequoia, and Greenoaks participating. The round is the largest single financing announced for an enterprise AI agent company to date, and it pushes co-founder Bret Taylor's two-year-old startup into the same valuation tier as Adobe-era industry standards. The pitch behind the round is structurally different from the model-lab fundraises that have dominated 2026 headlines: Sierra is not selling intelligence by
