Advertising Disclosure

How we handle sponsored content, affiliate links, and any commercial relationships.

BlockAI News aims to keep the wall between editorial and commercial content transparent and unambiguous. This page explains how we handle advertising, sponsored content, and any other commercial relationships.

Current Status

As of 2026, BlockAI News runs no paid advertising, no programmatic display ads, and no affiliate links. All content currently published is editorial.

If this changes in the future, the policies below govern how we will handle it.

If we accept sponsored content, every sponsored article will:

  • Include a clearly visible "Sponsored" label at the top of the article.
  • Be visually distinguished from editorial content (different color, badge, and/or layout).
  • Name the sponsoring entity.
  • Be excluded from the Editor's Pick section and from being ranked in any "Top" or "Trending" surfacing.
  • Include a standard disclosure block explaining that the sponsor paid for the placement and that the content does not reflect editorial endorsement.

Sponsored content is never written by the Editor-in-Chief or senior editorial staff in a way that could blur editorial voice.

If we use affiliate links in the future (for example, to exchange referrals or hardware recommendations), they will be marked inline with an "(affiliate link)" note or a site-wide disclosure on the relevant page. We will not use affiliate links to projects we are actively analyzing editorially.

Product Reviews

If we review a product (wallet, exchange, tool, service), we disclose whether the review unit or access was provided free by the vendor, and whether we have a commercial relationship with the vendor.

Events & Partnerships

If BlockAI News co-hosts an event, provides media partnership, or accepts a research grant from a project, this will be disclosed both on the event page and in any editorial coverage related to that event or partner.

What We Never Do

  • Accept payment for favorable editorial coverage.
  • Publish paid articles disguised as editorial.
  • Kill or soften editorial in exchange for advertising.
  • Accept equity, token allocations, or advisory positions from projects we cover editorially.

Reporting Concerns

If you suspect a piece of content is not properly labeled or a commercial relationship has not been disclosed, please email jason@blockainews.com. We take these reports seriously.
