3F Raises $4M Angel Round to Build One-Click Leveraged RWA Vaults on Morpho
3F — built on Morpho lending rails — closes a $4M angel round backed by DeFi insiders to ship one-click leveraged exposure to tokenized real-world assets.
RWA-leverage protocol 3F closed a $4 million angel round on April 23, backed by leading DeFi participants, to build one-click leveraged exposure to tokenized real-world assets on top of Morpho's lending rails.
The Round
3F's product is a set of vault strategies built on Morpho that let users post a tokenized RWA (Treasuries, credit, etc.) as collateral and loop up leverage in a single transaction, rather than assembling the stack manually across lending, borrowing, and asset legs. The angel round is explicitly "to fund launch," per the team's statements, with no lead VC disclosed — the backers are DeFi-native operators and protocol founders.
The Signals
Two signals. One, Morpho keeps winning the institutional-RWA rail war — its vault architecture is now the default home for structured products that need isolated risk, and 3F joins a growing list (Steakhouse, Gauntlet, MEV Capital) of teams building on top rather than forking. Two, "one-click leverage on tokenized Treasuries" is the DeFi-summer playbook repackaged for RWAs — expect competitors within 60 days.
Morpho's vault TVL crossed $8 billion in April 2026, with more than 60% in RWA-collateralized strategies — a mix that didn't exist 12 months ago. 3F joins Steakhouse Financial's USDC vault (now the single largest pool on Morpho), Gauntlet's risk-managed sidecars, and MEV Capital's yield-optimizer strategies. The 3F angel backers are not publicly named, but several Morpho-ecosystem protocol founders are visibly tagged on the team's launch thread. What's new for the vault category: 3F markets leverage as a one-transaction UX (post collateral, loop to target LTV), whereas prior RWA-leverage loops required three or more separate actions across lending, borrowing, and DEX legs.
Where This Goes
Leveraged RWA is about to become a crowded DeFi sub-sector. Watch which vaults clear $100M TVL first — that's the winner of this cycle's RWA-yield narrative.
